Chips with a nod to India
A sophisticated alternative to plain old potato chips is
Baji's Papadums. In Indian cuisine, papadums are similar to
tortillas - round flatbreads made of bean, rice or lentil
flour, often cooked crisp and served alongside a main dish.
Baji's has reenvisioned them as bite-size chips, kicked up
with Indian flavors - Mango Chutney, Tangy Cilantro, Creamy
Yogurt & Dill and Traditional Tandoori. The cup-shaped
snacks are airier and puffier than tortilla chips but plenty
sturdy enough to scoop up a mouthful of chutney or dip.
Find them at most Whole Foods Markets for about $3 per 4-ounce
bag.
