While Baji was passionate about feeding us healthy, nutritious meals, she was equally passionate about the welfare of those less fortunate than us, especially children.

In keeping with Baji's Passion for caring and giving, a part of sales of Baji's products will be donated to charities that focus on the education and nutrition of underprivileged children and women in Third World countries. We will be donating one percent of our sales or ten percent of our profits-whichever is higher.

We are working with two charities that focus on the two key areas in underprivileged children's life- Education and Nutrition.

Vidya-which means learning or knowledge- is a Delhi, India based charity that works primarily with children from the city slums providing free education, nutritious meals and job training.. For more than 20 years, Ms. Rashmi Mishra has worked tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of more than 20,000 children and women. .

Asha- which means hope- is an international charity working extensively with more than 250 organizations around the globe to help improve the quality of education for children. We will be working closely with their chapter in MIT Boston that is focused on education projects in different part of India and rest of the third world countries.
